Losing weight is something that many of us desire and dread at the same time.

The idea of changing our eating habits for the rest of our lives is incredibly daunting. The idea of having to restrict our foods and avoid our favourites is even worse.

While it’s no secret that we’re not about to lose weight if we entertain a diet full of fast foods and sweets, what many people don’t realize is that losing weight and keeping it off doesn’t necessarily mean never enjoying those things again.

And did you notice that when referring to the consumption of fast foods and sweets it’s naturally referred to as our “diet”. The word “diet” has many different emotions attached to it, but at the end of the day, “diet” is nothing more than a simple word that summarizes our food intake.
